In the course of my life I have encountered people who have said that I’m a white-black guy.  I’ve heard I’m the whitest black guy that they know. Well,  this blog is for every black person who has heard or had to deal with this dumb sentiment before. 

I don’t sag my pants, I speak proper english, I don’t get into trouble…and that’s what makes me white?!?!   I don’t fit into the “BET” stereotype…sorry.  If you think about it, it’s one of the most offensive stands to take or to say to a black person.  Since middle school I heard this dumb statement and it hurts believe it or not.  I smile and try to play it off like it doesn’t hurt but it does.  The alternative would be for me to “act ghetto” and beat the shit out of people however I wasn’t raised like that thank God.  My parents instilled common sense in me growing up.  They taught me there is a time and place  for everything.  They taught me  respect, they taught me integrity and manners.  They also taught me I would have to work twice as hard as a white male to get the same respect.  It’s sad but true…and I thank them for that.

Just because I don’t fit into your stereotype of a culture doesn’t make “not black”.  There is a difference between skin color and culture.  In regards to culture.  My second favorite style of music is rap/hip hop.  I am Hip Hop.  I’m not LiL Wayne Hip Hop but I’m Earth, Wind and Fire Hip Hop retaining my “blacknest”along the way.  It’s funny how it’s usually white people who tell me I’m not black (as if they wrote the book on what black is) but on a rare occasion I’ve heard it from blacks. Hearing it from blacks is downright stupid because it is as if they have no respect for themselves.

I know I’ve starting to rant a bit but I feel like I should let people know this much about me.  Think about what you say before you say it.  Trust me, there are tons of black people who will read this and agree with every word I wrote. 

So for the ignorant who might read this (hopefully you won’t because you’ve already been de-friended HAHA), I do LOVE fried chicken, love kool-aid, dabble with the hot sauce and on a hot day might eat some watermelon…does that make me blacker?

This is my rant against Tiger Woods.  That’s right…you never thought you would see the day where I would talk crap about Tiger Woods.  Well the day has come.  Let me explain.

First off, don’t call this man a Cablinasian…that’s code for “If i say I’m mixed with a lot of different things…white people will accept me.”  Tiger, please wake up and smell the roses…You are a black man.  You have  your hype because you’re good but also because you are considered a black male golfer.  You can hide behind your “Cablinasian” all you want but I see the bitch in you.

I already know what the masses reading this are thinking..”If he wants to be proud of his entire background he can be”  I COMPLETELY AGREE!  He needs to walk that walk though.  Tiger..your father was 50% black (which means HE’S BLACK).  That’s what a lot of different races seem to get messed up on.  In our society whether this is right or wrong you are what you look like.  If i look black, I’ll be treated as if I’m black.   You think if the KKK were walking down the street and saw Tiger they wouldnt want to kill him just as fast as they would want to kill me?  YOU ARE A BLACK MALE TIGER.

Now lets get to my main point.  The reason for this blog.  Why am i saying all of this?  This is why…Tiger Woods plays in the Masters every year.  What many of you don’t know is that in Augusta, GA (where the Masters are played) guess which group of people do you think are not allowed to play on that course…..YOU GOT IT..BLACK PEOPLE.  The year is 2009 and we still have places that do not accept blacks.  How Tiger can play on that course every year KNOWING they wouldn’t allow him if he wasn’t on the tour AND they would have never allowed his father to play on that course (wanna know why) because he is 50% black…..A BLACK MAN. Amid much criticism of exclusive and discriminatory admissions, Augusta accepted A black member in 1990…..A black member

I am by no means saying Tiger needs to act “black”  I don’t think you act “black”, you act like a culture.  Tiger does lead by example by raising a family, being a father and keeping a great and healthy relationship with his wife.  All those things are great, however, he needs to do more.  If the activisist of the civil rights movement would have acted the way Tiger is now…Tiger wouln’t be allowed to do what he is doing now.  He needs to think about that.

Tiger needs to stand up and say “You know what, I’m not playing the Masters ever again until this changes”  It’s like what my brother said…This is bigger than him.  It’s bigger than any one man.  He could change so much by making a silent protest.

It’s time Tiger starts to give back to the people who fought for him to have his opportunity.   Stop making money for “The Man” and help all of your ethnicities.  It’s time for him to be a man and stop acting like my Uncle (what was his name again….of yea TOM!)

I’m done rooting for him.  I hope he never wins another event

For me, Michael did so much.  He was the first black musician that made music stations play him.  MTV didn’t play black music until he came along.  Michael transcended the music industry.  My parents remember him and how great he was back in 69′ with The Jackson 5.  Think about all of the years that he stood alone with his greatness.  Michael had been great since the age of eleven. 

Do not judge him with the problems of his life.  He was abused at a young age which SURELY had an effect on him later in life.  This most certainly isn’t a time for idiots to start making Michael Jackson jokes.  Guess what…it isn’t funny.

Michael Jackson performed every show as if it was his last.  His shows were by far the hardest shows to ever get a ticket for.  The man sold more than 750 million Cd’s.  Let me type that again….750 million Cd’s!  The album ‘Thriller” sold over 109 million alone.  Jackson must have been the only person in history to come out with a CD that sold 8 million copies and was looked at as a disappointment.  Mind you, the CD is just wrote about was a greatest hits CD in which there were already 2 of those Cd’s already out!

Michael’s music will obviously live on forever but so will his legend.  His legend will grow of course because of his untimely death but his death will never outshine his music. 

I have a tattoo on my right arm that reads “Inflecto Tenus Rex.”  I also named this blog with that saying.  It means “Bow down to the King”  Michael Jackson will always be The King of Pop.  It’s time we bow.

Dear Shawn,

Dude…please stop.  You”re embarrassing yourself.  You’re not even a shell of your old-self.  To tell you the truth, i”m actually embarrassed to watch you on tv now.  You have become the ultimate loser.  You know those guys that they used to try and build on tv but you just wanted them to get off the screen so we could see nWo, DX, Evolution, 4 hoursemen etc?  That’s what you are now.  When i hear your music i feel about the same way The Rock did when he heard Big Show’s music…”Ahhh this guy sucks im gonna go take a leak!”

I cant believe how much you have fallen off.  You used to be my favorite of all time bar none.  I would have walked through the fire to argue you being the best.  Now, i realise i wasted so much breathe arguing that point.  I would rather watch old Benoit matches then to watch a new match involving you. 

You need to take your “holy roller” attitude back to Texas and enjoy your new life.  Its just like what Evolution used to say….”If you wake up and see nobody around you it means that Evolution has passed you by.”  Wrestling has indeed passed you by Shawn yet you still try to cling on to your past.

As great as 2008 has been for me; its also been a sad one.  First Number 4 ..and now you.  What a shame.  Two iconic images in my history that have shown their age and stuck around too long.  You can never beat Father Time.

McNabb should pack (no pun intended) his bags and get out of dodge.  McNabb has handled himself like a true professional ever since he got drafted to Philly.  Who could ever forget the Philly fans booing him when the eagles drafted him.  They critique his ever move on the field while he never gets the credit he deserves. 

Let us not forget that McNabb led those (pathetic eagle) teams to NFC championship games year in and year out.  McNabb has done more with less than any other QB maybe in the history of the sport.  Pick any great QB and put them on the eagles teams that went to the NFC championship games.  Do you think they would have done better?  No chance.  The one year they gave him help (T.O.) they went to the Superbowl.  Had it not been for spy-gate, they probably would have won it.

So this season they decide to bench McNabb during a game against Baltimore nonetheless.  They replace him with Kevin Cobb (yea…exactly) who stinks up the joint.  Would any other franchise QB be treated like that?  He comes back a game later and has arguably been the MVP the second half of the season.

Now just hours after Philly embarrassed the hell out of the cowboys (Sorry Jeff and Billy) McNabb is still on a high.  If i were McNabb i would demand a trade and kick ass elsewhere.  Lets see how Philly does without him. 

The worst fans in sports (eagles) don’t deserve a player like McNabb.  He is way to classy for a piece of shit town like Philly.

Pac came out with his first “hit” with digital underground and their weak-ass shit (except for Humpty of course).  That song was called “Same Song” and it really wasn’t his.  He had a little part in it.  He came out with some hits such as “I get around” before going to jail.  It wasn’t until he went to jail, hooked up with Dre and Suge before he was anything.  He had to completely reinvent himself .  He then came out with a classic double cd “All eyez on me.”  Absolutely classic.  Make a long story short he got shot and the last cd that came out right after he died “The 7 day theory” was a classic as well.

Now to Biggie.  Everything he came out with was classic. From the time he burst on to the scene until his demise, biggie dropped hit after hit.  He never had to reinvent himself.  From “ready to die” (classic) to junior mafia (classic) all the way to his last CD the best of them all “life after death”..everything was classic.

The true test is to listen to their music now.  Biggie’s music still sounds current and relevant.  Pac’s sounds like mid 90′s

Pac’s legend is because of his death…Biggie’s is because of his life.

I would like to thank the man who made Barack Obama’s day possible.  The ONE MAN who made this possible.  Barack Obama is the president-elect because of this one man.  It wasn’t all of the people who came out and voted for him..not the blacks, not the women, not the spanish, not the gays and not the smart.  President David Palmer is the reason for Barack Obama’s success.

President Palmer gave “White” America the idea that it would be ok to have a black man as President.  It’s impossible to think America could get pass the color barrier without seeing it play out in t.v. first.

Don’t believe me…ask Dennis Haysbert (President Palmer).  When asked about his influence in this year’s election he was quoted as saying “”It opened up the public to the notion that if the right man came along – I believe Obama is the right man – that a black man could be president.  I think I set the stage for it to happen”

Forget the civil rights movement and all that it did.  All we needed was t.v. and one man….a legend.  President Palmer.

Now lets just hope that Barack Obama’s run doesn’t end like his did!

Terrorist I tell you.....TERRORIST!

Talking to Lyssa a thought came over me…election years arehorrible.  Every four years we find out that the people that we are close with or work with are actually dumb-asses.  You don’t find out these things until politics are mentioned at work.  There’s a reason why politics and religion aren’t to be talked about at work.  Here is my case and points….

At the redneck/stupid school that i work… i have people who dont like Obama because…..?  Well actually, I dont think they know why they dont like him.  These are some of the things that I have heard from these people(in no particular order)

1)  He’s a communist

2)  I dont like his track record with white people

3)  What has he done for our country?

4)  Probably not smart enough (hmmmmm?)

5   and my personal fav….He is working with Osama Bin Laden.  He’s a Muslim and will eventually blow up all of the United States

These are adults i’m talking about folks.  People think because of his middle name “Hussein” that he will work for Al Qaeda.  Thats like saying any white person with the name Adolf is a Nazi (I actually met a BLACK man with the first name Adolf but thats a different story for another time)

I’ll break it down like a fraction…if you think the last 8 years have been good for our country then vote McCain…if not vote Obama.  I have YET to hear someone tell me why i should vote for McCain if i wasnt rich. 

I wish people would just say…I’m not voting for him because he’s black.  Atleast then, they would be honest.  Stop lying to yourself.

If i were a woman i would be utterly embarrassed.  Women waiting so long to have a VP running mate and this is the best that the republicans could find?  Seriously?  She just recently got a passport last year and has only traveled out of the country once! The woman wasn’t even on the radar of anything and now she is one step from being the 2nd most powerful person in the world???

Matt Damon said it best when he compared her story to a really bad Disney movie.  The hockey mom who somehow or another became the president of the United States.  She uses her pittbull hockey mother skills to stand up to Vladimir Putin and other European leaders.  This is a joke.  After meeting the president of Pakistan a news crew asked Asif Ali Zardari (the president) what he thought of her.  What was he response you ask?  “She is gorgeous.”  WHAT?!?!  He didnt mention anything about intelligence or her views or anything that meant a damn except for “She is gorgeous”  You think he would have said that about Hilary Clinton (well…..nevermind, you get the point)  The world doesnt respect her.

As i could go on and on about how dumb she is and how she isnt fit to be a running mate for any party.  I will leave you with some of the transcript between Palin and Kate Couric.  I challenge you to tell me how she makes any sense at all?  This could be our VP folks.  Get off of your ass people and vote.  If not for Obama..against Palin!

Hilary brings baggage and when i type baggage i mean baggage that could fill an entire 747 with.  Do you honestly think that Obama would seriously consider a bitc…a female dog that talked crap about him for a  year?!  She would say time and time again about how he will never be ready on day one and how she can do this and she can do that…BULLSHIT!  Since she didnt win the nominee how many times have you seen her rallying for Obama?  When she does rally for him do you believe a word that she says?  She is fake as fake can be and i wouldnt want to be associated with her at all.  Just look at her smile…dont you just want to knock all of her teeth out??????

As for you so called “democrats” who still arent going for Obama (most of you are female dogs)  Wake the F up.  Vote for the changes a party can make.  You vote for the message not the individual.  It is now becoming very apparent that a lot of women in this country are dumb….and they say black people only vote for Obama because he’s black.  I can easily say that white women only voted for Hilary because she was a woman!  Some of these women who would have voted for her are seriously considering McCain now.  To quote  Johnny-Mac “You can not be serious!”  If you really want to change America you vote Democrat this election not republican.  You Hilary supporters make me sick.  I wish nothing but the worst for all of you.
